Title: Ammonia Refrigeration Operator - Relocation to TN Required

Location: Knoxville, TN

Job Type: Full-Time, 2nd or 3rd Shift

Salary: $26-$29 per hour

Summary: A leading food processing company in Knoxville, TN, is looking for a skilled Ammonia Refrigeration Operator to join their team. The role involves the daily operation and maintenance of an industrial ammonia refrigeration system. We are seeking candidates who are willing to relocate to Tennessee and grow within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

* Operate and monitor the ammonia refrigeration system, including start-up and shut-down procedures.
* Perform preventive maintenance and assist with repairs on refrigeration equipment.
* Keep detailed records and conduct daily inspections.
* Maintain water quality systems on cooling towers.
* Assist with ammonia pump-outs and response to ammonia releases.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* 2-3 years of relevant experience, with 1-2 years in industrial refrigeration.
* Familiarity with P&IDs and basic computer skills.
* Ability to work in varying environments, including extreme temperatures.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
