Coding Quality Review Educator | Remote | Contract Walker Healthforce is seeking a Coding Quality Review Educator for a healthcare client located remotely. This is a contract position. Eligible candidates MUST be located in one of the following states: TX, NM, CO, KS, MO, AR, and OK. START DATE: ASAP Walker Healthforce Standard Perks: Weekly pay via Direct Deposit Medical, Dental, and Vision Available 401K JOB DESCRIPTION Conduct internal quality assessment reviews on OU Health coders to ensure compliance with national coding guidelines and organizational policies Coordinate and direct day-to-day coding educational activities Facilitate coding educational classes and presentations to enhance coding accuracy and integrity Provide Coding Integrity Specialist (CIS) and Coding Quality Review (CQR) education as needed Monitor Quality Assurance (QA) results to identify educational opportunities Maintain productivity and accuracy standards as per company policies JOB REQUIREMENTS Extensive knowledge of regulatory coding (ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT-4, Modifiers, MS-DRGs, etc.) and associated reimbursement Proven experience in coding education, auditing, and monitoring in acute care inpatient settings Strong skills in root cause analysis, data quality assessment, and problem resolution RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC certification PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree 3 years coding auditing/monitoring/training experience Contact our Recruiting Team today to experience the Walker Healthforce difference!
