The Opportunity: 

The Company Payables Accountant supports the Agency Accounting team with various parts of the premium payment process, including, but not limited to, processing payment to carriers and wholesalers, follow up with internal staff on outstanding issue and creating/managing invoicing activities.

In This Role You Will Execute On: 

• Process payments to carriers and wholesalers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Review accounts receivables throughout each month.
• Work with internal staff to resolve open receivable balance on past due items.
• Assist with the management of the Agency Accounting email inbox.
• Validate incoming invoices/statements from carrier/wholesale partners with the billings in our Agency Management System (AMS) across all agencies.
• Assist with resolving discrepancies between incoming invoices from our carrier/wholesale partners and billings in our AMS system.

In This Role You Will Need: 

• High School diploma or equivalent required, associates or higher-level degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of an organization, both internally and externally.
• Ability to work with highly sensitive/confidential data.
• Ability to handle high volume of outgoing payments
• Strong attention to detail/accuracy and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
