Dickie Brennan & Company - Driver Position

Dickie Brennan & Company, a leading New Orleans restaurant group, is seeking a Driver to join The Commissary team. As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in delivering delicious items to our restaurants efficiently and safely. By joining us, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, enhance your organizational skills, and contribute to the rich culinary history of New Orleans.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Follow all laws and drive defensively
• Load and unload truck with proper orders
• Deliver items to restaurants efficiently
• Troubleshoot delivery interruptions
• Perform daily safety inspections of the truck

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must pass a background check with a clean driving record
• Valid CDL driver’s license required
• Ability to drive a 16’ truck
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills and work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with a customer service orientation
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance and must adhere to the established appearance, hygiene, and dress code guidelines
• Flexible hours including weekends, and holidays
