Job Description

Wickenburg Ranch Golf & Social Club is delighted to announce the opportunity for our Lifestyle Manager. The Lifestyle Manager will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and supervision of the day-to-day social, educational, recreational, group activities, and entertainment. The Lifestyle Manager will also oversee communications with the members including, but not limited to: weekly newsletters, updates about upcoming events, and happenings at the club, managing and overseeing the member website.

Lifestyle Manager: Social Activities and Member Communications

TheLifestyle Manageris responsible for overseeing multiple programs by planning, implementing, and monitoring member and guest social and recreation programs to ensure a pleasant and meaningful experience for all participants.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Implement social programs and services for members, guests, and employees
  • Schedule staff to ensure all wellness and activity programs are provided as per the member and guest expectations
  • Partner with Director or Member Experience to identify appropriate enhancements to programs and services
  • Create a comprehensive member program that includes monthly activities and events for recreation, enrichment, creative expression, and travel
  • Monitor participation and performance and ensure adequate record keeping
  • Host Club events and activities and conduct satisfaction surveys for all events
  • Manage and update member communication portal and creation of its evolving content
  • Achieve established metrics which demonstrate the effectiveness of social activity initiatives
  • Interact with members and team members in a positive manner; work collaboratively to ensure customer satisfaction relative to services rendered
  • Provide a menu of activities, outside of club activities, for member participation
  • Manages team on the execution of programs and activities by conducting regularly scheduled meetings
  • Provides excellent customer service and monitors participant feedback through the use of comment cards and surveys. Supervises and follows up on guest requests and comments
  • Creates and implements an annual marketing and programming plan to promote all activities and encourage member participation and utilization
  • Develops member participation and recruitment plans, outlining in detail all promotions, programs, and any expenditures
  • Ensures fiscal responsibility through efficient scheduling of events and activities and, when necessary, makes changes to stay within budgetary guidelines
  • Charges members for events within the club’s internal POS system
  • Develops and plans a diverse calendar of enjoyable member programs and activities such as: wellness programs, life enrichment classes and activities, special events, social events, live music and concerts, demonstrations, and more
  • Maintains Mood Media TVs for advertising of events and social activities
  • Creates flyers and artwork for promotion of activities and events
  • Post on social media channels
  • Maintains and publishes weekly member newsletter
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, hospitality management, business, communications, public relations and/or marketing
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & BEHAVIORS
  • Three to five years leadership experience in a private golf/social club environment, event planning or health club & fitness club environment with a three-year minimum of supervisory experience required
  • Knowledge of customer base in an active adult social community
  • Knowledge about financial forecasting and budgets with the ability to create and maintain effective financial accountability to the company and ownership
  • Must have excellent planning, problem solving, decision making, delegation, time management, supervisory, and employee development skills
  • Excellent customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time without compromising deadlines
  • Capable of working independently without supervision
  • Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with guests and other employees at all levels
