Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on gas and diesel engines.
• Conduct inspections and ensure all vehicles and machinery comply with safety standards.
• Repair and maintain industrial machinery such as man lifts, forklifts, etc.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Order and replace parts as needed, managing inventory to ensure necessary supplies are available.
• Perform diagnostic tests using specialized equipment and tools.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Provide recommendations for vehicle and machinery upgrades or replacements.

Skills and Qualifications:

•   Basic knowledge of the operational aspects of machinery components.  
• Proven experience as a mechanic, with a focus on both gas and diesel engines.
• Experience with industrial machinery highly desirable.
• A valid Driver's License and High School Diploma or valid GED.  
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.  
• Ability to perform various physical activities, such as climbing, crawling, and lifting, from various heights.  
• Demonstrate communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking), and ability to keep accurate written records.
