Job Description

We are excited to announce that we are opening a new location! Jay Hatfield Motorsports of Ottowa is going to need a Fixed Operations Manager to oversee the parts and service departments, ensuring the efficient and profitable operations. Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the motorsports service and parts departments
  • Supervise and train service advisors, technicians, and parts personnel
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase service and parts department performance
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving issues and maintaining a customer-focused approach
  • Monitor and analyze department performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Oversee inventory management, including parts ordering, stocking, and returns
  • Coordinate with other departments to optimize workflow and maximize operational efficiency
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices
  • Serve as liaison between the store and Human Resources, Accounting and Payroll.
  • Communicate and hold staff accountable to policy and procedure requirements and updates.
  • Provide coaching, resources and training for development to increase all staff’s capabilities and performance
  • Ensure all manufacturer policies and procedures are followed
  • File warranty claims
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the motorsports industry
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with automotive management software
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
