Job Description
Kelner Homes, one of Tampa's leading developer-owned building companies, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Private Equity Placement Manager. This is a commission-based position where you will take the lead in your geographic market to acquire private capital and equity investors for our construction projects and our construction fund.
As a Private Placement Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with potential investors, educating them about our projects, closing investments, and ensuring a positive investor experience throughout the lifecycle of the construction project. Your role will also include sourcing your own private investors, with your earnings tied directly to the amount of capital you raise. Responsibilities:
Build Local Networks with Potential Investors:
• Develop and cultivate relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors within your geographic market.
• Attend industry events, networking opportunities, and community gatherings to identify and engage potential investors.
Create Investor Acquisition Appointments: • Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective investors to present Kelner Homes' construction projects and investment opportunities.
• Tailor presentations and discussions to address the specific interests and concerns of each potential investor.
Organize and Lead Investor Relation Meetings: • Conduct regular meetings with current investors to update them on project progress, address any questions, and strengthen relationships.
• Ensure investors are well-informed and satisfied with the transparency and communication from Kelner Homes.
Plan and Execute Private Equity Placement Events: • Organize events, webinars, and exclusive gatherings to showcase Kelner Homes' projects and attract potential investors.
• Collaborate with marketing and event teams to ensure successful execution and high attendance.
Conduct Private Equity Marketing: • Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies to attract private investors, leveraging digital platforms, print materials, and direct outreach.
• Work closely with the marketing team to ensure all materials are aligned with the Kelner Homes brand and investment messaging.
Maintain Strong Relationships with Potential Investor Prospects: • Nurture ongoing relationships with prospective investors, ensuring they remain engaged and interested in future investment opportunities.
• Provide personalized follow-up and support to keep prospects informed and involved in the investment process.
Manage the Administrative Side of the Private Placement Fund: • Oversee the documentation and administrative processes associated with investor onboarding, fund management, and compliance.
• Ensure all investor-related paperwork is accurate, up-to-date, and meets regulatory requirements.
Build and Maintain the Kelner Homes Brand: • Represent Kelner Homes with the utmost professionalism and integrity in all investor interactions and public-facing activities.
• Work to enhance the brand’s reputation as a trusted and successful developer in the Tampa market and beyond.
Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of financial products, the financial industry, personal financial advisor or responsibilities, or financial planner roles is essential
• Stellar communication and math skills complemented by a proven track record of building strong client relationships with existing and prospective customers
• Investor Network Development: Strong connections with high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors, especially in real estate and finance.
• Investor Acquisition Success: Proven ability to secure investment commitments through effective meetings and tailored presentations.
• Investor Relations: Experience managing and maintaining long-term investor relationships with high satisfaction.
• Event Planning: Skilled in organizing and executing investor events, including coordination with marketing teams.
• Marketing Proficiency: Expertise in private equity marketing strategies with strong communication skills.
• Relationship Management: Ability to nurture and maintain investor interest over time.
• Administrative Expertise: Experience managing documentation, compliance, and fund administration.
• Brand Representation: Proven ability to professionally represent and build a company's brand in the market.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of real estate development, private equity, and market trends.

We handle everything from direct acquisition, feasibility studies, permitting, construction, design, marketing, and disposition to transaction coordination.
