Senior Resource Analyst to support financial analysis and resource planning for human exploration and science missions on a NASA contract in
Greenbelt, MD. Responsibilities: Provide full-time senior-level Resources/Financial support for the Code 450 Division and various projects within the division, in the areas of budget planning, formulation, and execution. Monitor contracts and task orders for cost trend analysis and coordinate with project team members to review planned vs. actual variances and develop and provide monthly status reports.
We are looking for a Senior Resource Analyst to support the Exploration and Space Communications (Code 450) Division.
- Preparation and execution of budgets as assigned.
- Support the technical staff for all financial activities to include preparing cost estimates, financial analysis, and budget planning.
- Prepare financial reports for management and Resources staff to document projected budgets, funds received, direct and reimbursable cost expenditures, and remaining funds available.
- Complete the basis for plan vs. actual cost variance analysis.
- Ensure that funds are committed, obligated, and costed by pre-established cut-off and expiration dates.
- Plan and monitor workforce, conducting labor analysis and ensuring corrections are made.
- Assisting with the preparation of presentation materials as needed.
- Suggest efficiencies and process improvements for the organization.
- Additional responsibilities as required.

- Ability to prioritize work and know how to communicate time estimates when there are competing priorities; can status assignment progress.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel); must have advanced Microsoft Excel Skills, including lookup functions and pivot tables.
- Individual must meet government NAC and citizenship/permanent residency requirements for access to NASA GSFC. Extensive background investigation will be performed as a requirement of the job.
Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree with 6 or more years of relevant work experience.
