Our client, a global IT organization, is hiring a ServiceNow Developer on a contract basis to join their team in Atlanta, GA. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing and enhancing the company’s ServiceNow platform to meet evolving business needs.
Responsibilities:
As the ServiceNow Developer, you will configure and customize the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements.
You will be responsible to write and document clean, efficient and maintainable code.
Conduct code reviews and quality control checks to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
Administer multiple ServiceNow instances, including access control, workflow automation, data management, integrations and system maintenance/upgrades.
Gather requirements, understand process workflows and translate them into effective and scalable ServiceNow solutions.
Design and develop ServiceNow solutions such as forms, workflows, scripts, business rules, UI policies and integrations to enhance system performance.
Manage tool configurations to ensure reliable production.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system configurations, workflow sand customizations.
Provide training and guidance to end-users and other administrators on ServiceNow functionality and best practices.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow developer/administrator, especially with ITSM, CSM and CMDB modules.
Certifications such as Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more ServiceNow modules.
Proficient in configuring the ServiceNow platform, including user management, access control, form design, workflow automation, scripting, business rules, UI policies, integrations with other programs/vendors and reporting.
Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL processes and best practices, particularly in Incident Management, Change Management and Service Catalog.
Ability to analyze complex business requirements, identify system issues and propose effective solutions.
