We are looking for a high caliber, ServiceNow Senior Developer to help us grow our ServiceNow practice area. The position is responsible for the requirements, design, development, and implementation of various ITSM applications to solve client requirements. To be successful, one should have prior experience with ServiceNow ITSM. Mentoring others on the ServiceNow platform will also be key as this role will be working directly with customers who are often unfamiliar with the ServiceNow platform and will need to be coached in best practices. 

Essential Functions:  

• Provide Expertise in ITSM processes and best practices
• Lead, synthesize, generate, and publish customer stories
• Develop enablement materials that drive better outcomes on the Now Platform
• Participate in all cycles of the design process
• Collaborate on user stories to define development tasks
• Perform in concert with architecture and development peers
• Share knowledge with other program members concerning integrations and other ServiceNow work
• Leverage both proven and innovative technology approaches to solve challenging business problem
• Provide technical assessments, written documentation and technical expertise
• Communicate with the customer in technical/non-technical terms, understand their business requirements, and provide suitable solutions
• Work on continuous improvement by sharing experiences and knowledge with the team
• Advises on options, risk and impacts on business processes and technical architecture for the ITSM Implementation

Qualifications:  

• Experience with ITSM applications (as many of Incident, Problem, Change Management as possible), CMDB, Knowledge Management, Virtual Agent
• Extensive, demonstrable experience with JavaScript (preferably in the context of ServiceNow code exercises)
• Experience with ServiceNow App Engine/custom application development is a plus
• Total comfort and ease in a customer-facing role
• Experience working with enterprise IT software (e.g. ServiceNow, Salesforce, PeopleSoft)
• Experience using HTML and CSS to customize user interfaces
• 2+ years of experience as a key technical resource for ServiceNow solutions in client environments
• Ability to run workshops with the customer to gather requirements and map processes
• Ability to meet the expectations and requirements of the internal customers and senior management
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to provides technical leadership and professional guidance to managers, team, and vendors
• Public speaking and presentation skills
• Design thinking workshop facilitation experience

Other Job Requirements:  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent experience/ combination of education and experience. 
• Nice To Have Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist -- ITSM, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
