Job Title: Technical Writer
Work Location: Remote
Duration: 2 month contract
Education/Experience Required: 2+ Years of relevant Experience



Job Description & Responsibilities :

• This role will assisting with a data center project
• They will be creating deployment plans
• (How to build it, who is involved, who is the stake holders.)
• Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
• Thorough understanding of IT architecture, concepts from both an infrastructure and development standpoint.
• Under limited supervision, researches, writes and maintains documentation for enterprise applications.
• Utilizes documentation standards to prepare reference material for developers and end-users.
• Develops, edits and creates content for the documentation of software applications and hardware environments. Utilizes templates for standardizing system documentation.
• Conducts research and interviews technical and business personnel and reads existing journals/documentation/user manuals to become familiar with product technologies and production methods.
• Validates accuracy of existing documentation.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Visio.

Skills & Qualifications :

• 2+ Years of relevant Experience
• H.S Diploma
• Strong Communication Skills
• Experience reading technical information and transforming it into easy to understand language
• Thorough understanding of IT architecture, concepts from both an infrastructure and development standpoint.
• Candidate must be have a personal laptop they would be able to use for this role.

Preferred Experience:

• Basic security clearance
• Has worked for a Government agency or large cooperation
• Data Center or an office build out experience
