Job Role: Customer Support/Front Desk
Anticipated Start Date: 1-2 week

Expected Duration: 12 Months Contract

Pay Range: $14.00/HR – $15.97/HR

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Administrative Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will greet clients and the public, assess the purpose of office visits, and manage referrals to the Department of Economic Security (DES) and other community resources. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of communication in the office, ensuring that all client interactions are handled with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
· Greet and assist clients and the public upon arrival, determining the purpose of their visit.
· Make appropriate referrals to DES and community resources based on client needs.
· Assist clients in preparing for the application process, including registering applications and checking for prior client history in the AZCCATS system.
· Manage a high volume of incoming calls, routing them to the appropriate staff members.
· Photocopy and organize information submitted by clients for the eligibility process.
· Direct clients and their information to the assigned or appropriate case manager.
· Open, date stamp, and distribute all incoming mail (including U.S. mail, inner office, scanned, emailed, and faxed correspondence).
· Prepare outgoing mail according to office procedures.
Skills Required:
· Proficiency in computer applications (e.g., MS Office Suite).
· Strong customer service skills.
· Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Skills Preferred:
· Advanced computer skills.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience Required:
· Minimum of 1 year of consecutive customer service experience.
Experience Preferred:
· Previous experience in a similar administrative or customer service role.
Education:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Additional certification in office administration or a related field is a plus.
